It's realy great on the part of Indian constitution and judiciary in particular. These all events encourage everyone in having faith in the legal systems. I congratulate Mr Geelani on his aquittal and wish that same kind of judgement is done to everyone else who didn't commit any crime. God bless all and may peace and love prevail everywhere on the earth.
It is indeed good news to hear that Geelani has been acquiited. Like Ram Jethmalani said, it does restore the average citizen's faith in the justice system that does not allow a draconian law like POTA to play havoc with all the other rights of the citizens of the country. By acquitting an innocent person like Geelani, it has helped restore the faith that had been eroded after the trial court's blatantly prejudiced and shabbily researched verdict!
This proves that guilty persons can get rarest of rae punishment and innocent can be aquitted by the same court. Hats off to Indian Judiciary! I salute them.
