Yes i am really happy after a long time
i have that a website has recognised
the work of Indians in UN peacekeeping
missions but there are many other
Indian Army men who did splendid job
so such men should also be promoted
as Indians are working for UN peace

These are the great Indian people, who does not come into limelight when they are in action. Anyway good reporting from Rediff, which brought General into news. We are inspired by this kind of coverage.

My comments on the legendary peacemaker
by Swapan Kumar Bag on Nov 05, 2003 09:39 AM

On reading about the life & works of this legendary peacemaker, I strongly feel he was a living example of an extraordinery quality & rarest character in the present world scenerio. Reading about his life & works I am able to extract some good lessions which I will be using in my life for the better cause of the humankind. Despite facing lot of obstacles in this good endeavour, there are many people who thrive to render good services to the humankind silently & without any publicity or personal gains. I convey my very personal respect to such characters, whom I come across in my day to day life & surely I am lucky in this matter.
I pray to the Almighty, may his soul rest in peace & his life & works should be setting an example to the present day humankind in the crisis situations.
