Gay bishop splits Anglicans

I think this is wonderful heartwarming news- not only for the gay community but for humanity at large. The consecration of a gay priest represents a step forward, and is a source of hope for all minorities worlwide.

Gay BISHOP

Utter nonsense, highly irresponsible, totally unusual and ethically and morally wrong.
The west may justify it as an individual's basic human rights but in the eyes of god its always a sin to flout his set rules of human relationship.
So, Gay movement in itself is immoral, and on top of if the guide who leads the humanity to god, the cadinal whom many consider the appointed messenger of god himself is indulging in breaking the laws of humanity I think he should be punished for it rather than rewarding him with such a high profile post.

All are equal in the eyes of God!

I only ask one question: Is a gay, a eunuch, a transvestite any less a child of God or any less deserving of God's attention and services to God than those who are approved off by the society. When God does not differentiate between his children who are we to decide anything. Those bishops opposing this move only show to the world how much more they need to grow to understand God's mind. Their spiritual journey has not even begun. May God bless them.

This is insane. The Archbishop of canterbury has committed a crime in the name of god. We can accept a gay or a les as a friend of us, but not as a bishop, cuz hetrosex is the natural form of sex

Ordination of Gay Bishop
by Ivan Mathew John on Nov 03, 2003 06:14 PM

I render my whole-hearted support to the Bishop who is admittedly gay and lives with his partner. I pray for his ministry, the church as a whole and especially for those persons who share the Christian faith and yet hold a different position on the issue of homosexuality. I pray for God's blessings upon the bishop especially as this is a first step to accepting people the way they are; it is statement that it is possible to be gay and Christian. If people or church oranizations wish to break away from the communion, this is sad; nobody wishes them to. This makes me really think deeply about what it means to be a follower of Christ today.
