Good Luck to Mr Sankeshwar.

karnataka needs one strong regional party, that builds new corruption free state, and really works towards building great Karnataka for new generation to not have any fundamental problems such as employment, poverty and so on.

I wish him a great success.

Sreenivas, Kolar (working in China).

Mr Sankeshwar himself has not done any work
by kk on May 31, 2003 05:36 AM

With all due respect other than growing his own transport company Mr Sankeshwar has done nothing for his constituency. No water no proper power supply no growth.
Now he wants his own party, but if he does havea sincere effort to take in proper people i do wish him well.

Its Good for North Karnataka But too worst for BJP to handal
by Guruprasad Kulkarni on May 30, 2003 10:45 AM

I am bit surprised by the move of this elderly business man turned Politician.

Mr Snakeshwar represents a region from which fortunately the opposition party leader Mr.Jagadis shettar also hails from. This would be bizarre that a so called visionary leader like Sankeshwar could not use this opportunity to capitalise on his vision to realise.

Anyway this move might give some sole representation for the North Karnataka BUT this clearly shows the rift in the State BJP where their prominent leader &
their party head doesn't share a common vision.

Mr Sankeshwar's farewell to BJP
by Dr Rangaesh Gadasalli on May 29, 2003 11:58 PM

Dear Sir,
Mr Sankeshwar says that since one year the BJP in Karnataka is not doing well. Were they doing better before? He also states that the BJP is doing very well all over the country, Surprise? He has no problems with BJP philosophy, national leadership etc and still he does not want to cut his relations with them.He is scared that he may lose, because he did nothing forthe party as an MP.He is angry that other like Ananth Kumar, Dhannjay kumar and the youth leader from Bijapur got seats at center and he was ignored.Grapes are sour.Kalyan singh afterleaving BJP is no body.Govindacharya after his sanyas is no body.
Sankeshwar will be nobody if he does not act and think properly.Ask not what the BJP can do for you , ask yourself what you can do for the party Mr Sankeshwar!

Mr VijaySankeshwar statement in Vijay karnatak has spread like fire
by drbmalur on May 29, 2003 11:12 PM

Mr Sankeshwar has brought good name to BJP party in northkarnatak.Let him develop this party being in it only.If his bjp collegues dont allow him to grow then let him take step in leaving his party. He is a non corrupt honest good worker of some metals. He has proved it in number of occasions.Regional parties dont survive for long.TDP had a big backing so as AIADMK.In karnatak meny such parties r dead and gone.Hence Mr.Vijay think calmly to develop his party which can certainly bring credit.

The BJP hasn't grown in karnataka
by madhusudhan on May 29, 2003 08:38 PM

As far as Sankeshwar statement its true the BJP hasn't grown in karnataka. But its very difficult to survive leaving big parties like BJP, i think no one survived so far and ultimately joined in other partys.
To lead regional party the person should have some of kind glamour or charsima.

In my opinion sankeshwar should be in BJP and try for party to become power in the state. At this crucial time BJP cannot loose such big leader in karnataka
