It's a great loss to Hindi World. It would have been nice if the body could have been cremated in either Delhi or Allahabad, the 'Karmabhoomi' of the poet Bachchan. With cremation in Bombay only filmstars and politicians are able to pay tibute to the departing soul and the real friends of Bachachan, those who are related with hindi literary world are denied this opportunity to pay the tribute in person.
This should be the time and occassion for the famous son (amit ji)to dedicate his name and fame and put behind the efforts and keep the poetry of his father alive not only amongh the literary few but the people at large. May peace be with the departed soul
