Let's there be a War
by Priyadarsi Dutta on Feb 15, 2003 03:36 PM

Maintaining Saddam is now like protecting a toothless tiger. He indulged into an 8-year war against neighbouring Iran. Still unrepentant he invaded Kuwait and ired America. He is certainly a 'Secular' Muslim (except that he oppresses Kurds, Shias who form majority etc)but tremendously Anti-Israeli. The map of middle-East can be redrawn following Iraq campaign. Let's the Kurds be given their historic homeland, and Assyrians (Christians)be given some land in northern Iraq. By taming Iraq one can finish off the threat to Israel. Saddam has ruled long enough. I shall be sorry to see him go, but he must go now.

The need of the hour is peace not war.Negotiations with Iraq if acquitted and sanctions can be imposed.Instead of wasting money by US-UK they can help third world countries to become economically sound.Life of human is so precious we need to protect.

Against war

It is a very positive initiative taken by the Nobel Laureates

`Live and let live is the law of nature `.
If anyone tries to destroy others by taking a upper hand feeling he is above others .It is sheer ignorance

Tomorrow He will be destroyed and those who stand by him will be the worst sufferers

Do not show off with the power ,wealth and youthfulness .It is just a matter of time.a split second for you to lose everything .Let the American president Mr.Bush understand that he is after all just a Human being and nothing above than others for him to decide other peoples fate.

Param

if tendulkar opens with sehwag and if they get going they can post a decent total and lay the foundation for Ganguly to take on the Aussies; it's not the question of who is better than whom; or whether tendulakr is indispensable or not ( I for one do not like anybody being indispensable) is a moot point; he middled the bal in the first game against Holland; and he would be in a better frame of mind than Ganguly now to open the innings.
