pak must learn to love humans
by suru on May 06, 2003 08:32 AM

Hi friends
India being a second most populated country, still can grow better than Pakisthan, but even india has to spend lot of money on army to combat terroism in Kashmir, so it is hightime pak must start to think about the starving people and poor economy of their country, in simple term
Pak! love your people first, don't other's lands, by just claiming a piece of land from india they wont going to get good GDP growth
first u educate your men, dont teach them how to hold a gun, rather how to hold a pen, that will improve the level of thinking

Great to read the current Indian moves against Pakiland. During the discussions with the Japanese DM, a whole new can of worms going to open. If India is able to convince the Japanese that Pakiland has indeed passed on the Nuclear technology to N. Korea, that will have severe repercussions of their relations with Japan. Japan is in a much stronger position to exert pressure, via the US, on Pakistan and hopefully to bring an end to their Nuclear program.

On the other hand, if India has convincing evidence of Pakiland Nuclear proliferation why did they wait that long ?

Losses?

Yes, both side are loosing. But nothing like Pakistani politicians, who have mortgaged their countries freedom (Attained by Gandhi thru Indian principals of non-violence) to foreighers.
As to the solution to Kashmir there are two posibilities vacate Kashmir or for a peaceful Asian Union. A third and less desirable option may be status quoe withot terrorism for near future.

I totally agree with Arjun

Well, I totally agree with Arjun - not because I am a patriotic Indian but because I am also a human being. Pakistanis will first of all do a great favour to not only India but to the rest of the world - if they stop 'Manufacturing & Exporting' Terrorists.
And even more importantly, Clean the religion called 'Islam' of all fanatic elements.
'Jihad or Freedom Struggle' in Kashmir does not mean Ethnic Cleansing of Non-Muslims and forcible occupation of their land.
Change in the attitude of Pakistanis can ALONE help solve the crisis.

First of all Kashmir is India's internal matter. We never told Pakistan how it should curb crimes against christians.India does not advise Pakistan on how to curb Violence in Karachi.

Even PM Vajpayee has said that "mistakes have been committed in the past". But while an ARMY deals with civilians u know what happens e.g., Iraq war and how USA has treated civilians during war and after war. There has been so many "accidental" civilian deaths in Iraq.

My point is with the partition has ended the issue. U r free to chalk out ur own destiny the way u want. What u do with ur country is none of our concerns.

Im presently in london and have quite a few kashmiri friends, they only have problem with the Indian govt and not with INDIA. Given a choice they want autonomy by remaining within India. No way do they want to cross over to Pakistan.

Another thing is pakistanis even in london cant survive without seeking shelter in the "Indian" name. Most of the "India curry house or so called Indian restaurants" are owned by Pakistanis. But the racial abuse that we have earned from the Brits is "PAKIS" can u explain this. Why dont they abuse us "Indies" or sumthng typically Indian?

RE:why not UN observers?

Asking for UN observers at LOC is a clever tactic by Pakistan. That is the initial step for the internationalization of Kashmir issue. India knows the danger in it. That's why they don't accept that suggestion. Kashmir is an integral part of India. Pakistan unnecessarily wasting their money by promoting these terrorists.

Nomaun,

I am an Indian. Politicians of any country, to a greater degree, reflect people's feelings. It's the attitude of the Pakistanis that allow their politicians to continue supporting terrorists across the border.

Pakistani politicians try to run this kind of show (call for talks, UN observers etc.,) with no good intentions to resolve (ex: Lahore and Agra meets). After all, for them, it's the Indians (Kashmiri Pundits and Kashmiri Muslims) who are DYING not the Pakistanis.

There needs to be a change in Pakistan's attitude (NOT harboring terrorists across the border and in Kashmir) visible to India for any further relations or initiatives of any kind to happen.

Arjun
