You argument why the words Building temple buy votes and metro's not offending fragile hindu sentiment is illogical. The whole problem is criticizing or mocking fun of Hindu religious practice of belief has become a fashion. Some go to the extent of justifying it as freedom of speech. One freedom ends when it trespasses into other person freedom. I have not seen a single film or skit criticizing other religions or beliefs. Why single out Hindu's - is it bcos they were tolerant.. Time to wake up
I am not interested in the controversy but I am amused that the writer quotes from Madam Chief Minister in the context of a Tandav sequence but avoids quoting from Tandav. How can he then justify the three persons involved in the movie all of whom belong to a particular religion and who allegedly are involved with some offensive remarks about another religion? Wil these persons keep quite if some Hindus were to indulge in apparently inoffensive remarks about their religion and will that community keep quite? Unfortunately the writer is not being objective while the Govt and the Hindutva acolytes are equally at fault in making a mountain of a molehill!

Every time when such instance happens, the team of Directors, Producers, actors and co. pose so innocent as if they were not aware of any thing bad, whereas they deliberately repeat such episodes to gain publicity, making money, and hurt feelings of majority on the instructions from their financers or so called BOSS. Why can't you people think above inter-religion script ? This time Hon'ble S.C. has very strongly tightened your noose, and warn to aware in future.
