The writer does not have any knowledge of Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam Film Industries and hence a very restrictive article. The title itself is wrong.

Indeed it is ridiculous-the article should have been titled 25 Telegu songs! Hundreds of songs in Kannada which will live for ever (who can forget the 'Mamaravello' or KanasaluNene) In Tamil he has song 3000 songs of Ilayaraja alone- each is a gem by itself Just listen to any song. 'Mandram vanda tendalukku' etc.
It is highly ridiculous to see that no Kannada song is featured here. He ruled Kannada playback singing for more than 3 decades singing almost all songs during this period. Yet not mentioning a single song here is a parody to the title of this article!

Yes, even i was searching for kannada songs in the list. The writer has limited knowledge about SPB career, or its usual ignorance towards Kannada by mainstream media and journalists. Kannada industry should come out of this protectionism culture and fight with others for recognition...
He has sung most of his songs in his career in Kannada Language, and all the evergreen hit songs in kannada are his songs. Where are they ? If you don't have knowledge in this field, why the heck do you publish this kind of biased article ?

It seems the singer does not know SPB has sung for kannada songs too Its insult to the legend singer. He belonged to India not just to 2 states. check this out
