The WhatsApp chats of the person called "Rhea the dr
by Malika Lambas on Sep 10, 2020 12:36 AM

NCB has enough indirect information for detaining Rhea for 14 days in their holding cell but I think one of the five males i. There is no forensic proof against Rhea of drugs like they show in American TV shows called \"Forensic Files, that are actually required for conviction in a court of law. The arrest for 14 days by NCB is based on What\'s app chats and confessions. Even confessions are not suffuciant in a court of law in chats by someone named \"Rhea the drugs lady\". As shown in \"Forensic Files\" with episodes of murders solved by forensic investigation, a husband had \"confessed..\" ot wife\'s murder in Canada a few years back, on a night when she had come back from a bar well after the husband came back home. Forensic investigation indicated that killer was an unmarried neighbour. A confession has to be backed by forensic proof and medical investigations for a proper conviction. In other words it is legal to arrest someone like Rhea for 14 daus, but it is illegal to convct her to a long sentence in a real court if there is no forensic evidence. there are bits of old chats on apps like WhatsApp, where someone logged as \"Rhea the drug lady\". Someone originally from bihar may be happy with this proof, bur someone else originally from Maharashtra will not be happy. In other words, NCB may be able to arrest her (like the Bihar lobby of Mumbai wants) for 14 days based on WhatsApp Chats and confession, bu

How Rhea is not Guilty..
by Prabhu_ Desai on Sep 09, 2020 10:00 AM  | Hide replies

How Rhea can be held responsible for SSR's drug habits? It is proved that he was consuming drugs like his colleagues in same industry. Can't believe NCB was not even aware of Drugs transaction in Mumbai till this issue became a legal crime due to death(let's avoid debate whether suicide or murder) of SSR. But then if they have not even spared his house help(glorified with big designation as Manager). Rhea is technically trapped. And does NCB believes that apart from Rhea there is absolutely no one consumes drugs? If so mumbai citizens are in big trouble for naivety of NCB and now whether subject of suicide or murder has taken a backseat once Rhea is arrested for drugs dealings.

Why we are bothering this ? One who is guilty was taken for investigation and ultimately found guilty from different angles and now taken to task. So , its simply as you sow so shall you rip. Thats all, so, we should should not bother like a spoke person.

'Why can't Rhea be given space?'

It's comman pratice, when some popular person is taken to trials, all media people try to take his/her first look or a word. It is police to maintain distance due to Covid-19 spread.

Yes.Beyond a limit, the media trial is ssickening.True, media has role to play through investigative journalism and aid the agencies of the institution in their job in highlighting lapses if any in the trial. But the media hounding the accused inhumanely, not even giving her a breather is nasty.Arnanab clearly has transgressed all limits of journalistic ethics.

TRP is greatest power

Those who are vocal for Rhea, those companies who paid you for featuring in their advertisement s are buying slots on these media channels at high.prices.
Why? Because people are watching these channels. Indirectly and unknowingly you are benefited by this media.
Logic has no standing before big money. The lesson I learnt the hard way.

Now I just mind my own business. I changed a lot after Nirbhaya case in which I participated in protests and candle marches and also arranging lectures on women's safety.
Only celebrities are protesting but public support of Rhea seems sparse. Wonder why?
