In time, even those whose

memory is imposed on commoners - those like Emperor Ashok, Akbar, Shivaji, etc - will be forgotten and even drop out of prominent places in history text books. The number of those whose memory is sought to be perpetuated in this manner will become too high to ensure success in such perpetuation !

And in less than 70 years of independence, there have already been 14 prime ministers (the persons who are widely supposed to be remembered the most).

When this is the reality, what chances do purveyors of cheap kitsch and slapstick acting like this man who has become famous and very rich at the expense of gullible commoners have to be remembered for long after death ?

Everyone is forgotten some day Mr. Shroff, like megastars Raj Kapoor, Dev Anand, Rajesh Khanna, Pran and Amrish Puri who are also almost forgotten now.
