The earlier "Robot" was much better and had many fun elements and a good story line. But this one "2.0" is such a boring movie in the first half. Only the saving elements are great 3D effects, good CGI and Akshay Kumar. Rest everything is so repetitive, and the story lacks the punch of a sci-fi movie. Actually the character of Akshay should have been of a protagonist, but the director messed up everything and made him a villain. Actually after "Robot" of 2010, the evolution of science fiction in world cinema has been vary big, and we have seen that in many hollywood movies during this period. But the director of 2.0 stuck to the earlier forms of sci-fi movies.

2.0 has been borrowed form spiderman, marvel, the avengers, superman, batman. Just like TOH was borrowed from Pirates of caribean. Imitation of hollywood doesnt work in India. Robot may have worked. I heard that Rajnikant is going to join politics, like all tamilians actors.like Jayalalita, Kamala Hasam, MGR. etc

2.0 was a great movie.
