duryodhan is not actual name
by siddharth on Nov 26, 2018 11:29 PM

It is Suyodhana and sushasana. Pandav during war mocked them with this name as Duryodhan and dusshasan. I dont understand why media represent them with false names when south india represent them with correct name.

Duryodhana's view
by Manohar Rao on Nov 25, 2018 06:51 AM  | Hide replies

I actually support his view. Pandu was the caretaker king because Drithrastra was blind. Being the eldest of the two, Dithrastra's son should become the rightful king but Duryodhana was denied his right.

It is like I ask my friend or a relative to look after my house in my absence and years later when my son comes back for the property, who is the rightful heir, he is denied. Now, what is wrong if he is fighting for something which rightfully belongs to him?
Everybody is judged by their karmas then why was Duryodhana was punished for Karmas of his father? Mahabharat war could have never happened if Duryodhana was given the throne which was rightfully his.

You have not carefully understood the Mahabharata as many do not. It requires a clear cut understanding of the situation. The throne did not belong to Dhritarastra, it was actually Bheeshma's who was the real heir and who had made great sacrifice for renouncing the throne. Pandu was made king because he was considered able ruler due to Dhritarashtras Disability and Pandu only expanded the entire kingdom. When time came for coronation of Yuvaraja, the elders in consultation with Bheeshma decided that there should be a righteous king to rule hastinapura and decided that Yudhishtira is the right person to rule as he had all virtuous qualities for ruling. This is how Yudhistira was crowned yuvaraja and this lead to Duryodhana developing animosity towards pandavas and rest of the story follows. Duryondhana then adoopted drasting adharmic practises to gain his ends by any means but could not succeed. Pandavas were equal heirs and they being peaceful requested only for 5 villages once upon a time but this was also rejected by Duryodhana. Then upon Lord Krishna's intervention, Dhritarastra gave Khandavaprastha ( A barren forest land) to Yudhishtira (here again Kauravas cheated) - which Yudhishtira with the help of the Lord developed into great Indraprastha (Delhi today). Unable to bear the prosperity of Yudhishtira, Duryondhana planned game of Dice and we know the rest. Pandavas were on Dharma path, - Hence Lord Krishna helped them and made Yudhishtira emperor of world 5000 yrs ago.

Suyodhana is actual name and he was made king but pandav developed great city indraprastha, you need to correct your knowledge. suyodhana wanted to grab indraprastha and exile pandav. read mahabharatha before commenting
