The remix is not able to catch the charm in the song. The singer is not able to catch the emotions of the song. It does not ignite one while listening to song may be by watching it.
It would be better to have movies without songs rather than copying & remixing old songs. This will restore some credibility to new movies. Copying & remixing old songs hurts the sentiments of those individuals who have created the original score and also those audiences who have watched those films & songs and have become fans over the last few decades. Secondly, the new filmmakers can try a parody song with the same music but different lines. Again the most important part is that it should conform to the situation in the film aptly seconded by picturization.
