I have seen almost all horror genre movies both in english and hindi languages, and Pari is among the best horror movie i have seen so far.
There is a nice story and the direction and acting are superb too!
Throughout the movie everything is kept simple, and not a single minute you feel bored, and the end too is interesting and bit emotional!
I don't know what problem the person who wrote this article is having with this movie, this is actually a very nice movie!
And just because this is an indian movie it may get average reviews, but i feel this movie is easily better than the world famous Poltergeist movie and so Exorcist movie, and so many other useless movies, i never enjoyed those movies but i really enjoyed Pari.
Please see i do not see many hindi movies, i most often see english movies only, my percentage of English to Hindi movies in the past about 20 years is about 95 % Vs 5% so you guys can see how much i love English movies, but Pari is better than any english horror movies i saw so far
The only English horro genre movie with a nice story, good theme and plot was "Ghost story" i had enjoyed it thoroughly and i had seen it more than one time - which i rarely do unless i like a movie very much.
Pari is really a great horror movie in my opinion!!!
Also the acting of Anuska, her rescuer boy Parambrata, the other girl Ritabhari, the villain Rajat - all have acted superbly!!!

In India be simple and look to explain things in such complicated where a reader looses the plot.. It needs to be in a English where it captures and engages each and every audience and not limited to selected few. Long way to to simplify.. I always scroll down to stars over difficult English..

You are right Pradeep. I had posted a similar comment for Sukanya Varma's review about Sridvei's 'Mom'...it appears rediff reviewers are appearing for a GRE test that they have to use this kind of English. I watched MOM and liked it. I watched Pari and personally did not like it much. But both reviewers Sukanya and Sreehari have to keep aside their urge to showoff their english vocabulary while writing movie reviews. Though I did not like this movie due to the witchy angle, the acting of Anushka, Parambrata are superb. Anushka deserves pat for going offbeat and against the tide. She did it last for Phillauri too. And it was a pleasure to watch Parambrata after his impactful acting in Kahani part One opposite the excellent Vidya Bagchi (played by Balan)
I m sure if u read this review urself u will not knw what crap u hv written..its complete bull shit..bhai plain likho and atlest make us aware what storyline is..review writer is full of shit in his head. Stop reviewing films. If we had to rate the reviewer it would be in minus
