May be it is their (Hirani & Joshi) dominant story line (takes years together to complete) which gauges possibly every reaction the movie may garner and then add sufficient doses to get the point straight... It is hard to ignore them but honestly they bring to table what they believe in and put in a process to validate and improvise...
