He glorified Khilji's madness. He definitely assumed his version of facts to dramatize scenes. Any mughal emperor, no matter how powerful he is, would never come alone face to face hundreds of rajput ladies, they would have tore him apart there and there only in pieces.
Its just a movie by a director who wants to prove his direction skills and cinematography. PERIOD.
I saw Padmavat. It was a sight to watch.Movie was well made.But end scenes about Johar..that left me quite uncomfortable. Act of Johar also needs great courage.But Queens of yore were well trained in contemporary warfare. So could not they nineteen thousand in number, ride to the battle,kill or get martyred .

Only in the movies dude. Queens of yore weren't even allowed outside the palaces, leave alone learning warfare. Most were just ancient versions of housewives.
