It is really courageous job to come up with such a movie. Fact is night and darkness encourages evil to grow. People get diseases and are sometimes helpless in such social structure, or sometimes get looted.

It's an amazing movie, with a social message. Akshay Kumar has done justice and very effectively conveyed the social cause. Before the movie, hardly few people knew how health hazard the dirty cloth is. He put it in forefront. It's not only Govt.'s duty for cleanliness, it's each and everyone's prerogative. Hope our majority of India, who resides in village will understand; how much health hygiene is necessary, for our sisters and girls who attend the age of puberty.
I appreciate Akshay for both the movies i.e. "Toilet" & Padman. If men not allowing women to see these movies then these men are fools in total, and thing women to be commodities which should change.
Every human has a right a life of dignity and these movies only project that and men should atleast help in realising it for their women.
Hey Akshay , the message in the movies is good .. But why did you agree for a shot with 3 people riding on a bike .. Wrong right to break traffic rules .
Kudos to Akshay to acting in different type of films with social messages and kudos to the courage of the producers, director and writers who were ready to make such a project. Every Indian should do some bit on their part apart from their regular day to day job for survival, only then can we expect a change in overall India and who better to spread the message than film stars or celebrities whom unfortunately even the starving guy would die for. But no celebrities have ever been doing their bit for the nation except for coming on camera and belting big big social and patriotic dialogues whether its on screen or off screen. In that sense Akshay is definitely better than the super star Khans and other actors who are just interested in their job, PR, money, publicity and success image. This is really a shame. Why can't all the celebrities and actors do free marketing for agriculture and encourage people to invest, work in agriculture field and live in villages and why do not they themselves follow by example by shifting their base to small towns and villages and get in farming after their peak days and earning enough are over. But they would never do that because they themselves believe and love in luxury and fantasy life than simple living. Hence whatever the celebrities do as part of social message is not going to stand long and will fizzle out. Its no use if only 1% of people change after seeing Toilet and Padman. We will take another 60 years to grow.

Show it for free as if there are no costs for producing the movie u cant be serious bills have to be paid unless government of india foots the bill
If, India is suffering from a dangerous VIRUS, which affects mankind very badly.
A famous Private Drug Company is having medicine/remedy for that disease and cost of dose is Rs.10,000/- each.
Company is promoting for that medicine that, everyone should purchase and use the same to survive.
Fact is: In such case, Government will undertake to distribute that survival medicine to every citizen as “Polio Drops” for FREE.
In the case of “PAD MAN” movie ..
Cost of Production (Pad) is cheap. Ie., very less that life. BUT, Ticket Cost of Cinema is Unchanged.
What a great contribution from the Film Producer and Mr.Akshay Kumar educating Indian Citizens that, how important is their movie to watch.
My humble request to the Indian Government, please own the Movie from the producer, and put the top heroines as ambassadors for the noble social cause.
