Khatta Meeta was another great movie on the hiccups of a struggling man, unfortunately that got flopped. Its great that Akshay is doing movies with social causes and society issues, but unfortunately, except for seeing those movies, the mindset of people never change or people never learn and improve on solving the social issues. Like when Toilet - Ek Prem Katha has been accepted by people so well, the impact should be that people should start building toilets in their houses and eradicate the social defecation totally. Like after seeing Pad-Man, females across the country should start adapting pads and more entrepreneurs should start business on developing cheap and hygiene pads which can be used by all the females of this country. That would be the real impact of the movie.
His movies are content driven and also patriotic in nature. He may not be a good actor but due to strong content, his movies are either hit or a super hit. A blockbuster is on the cards if he improves his acting skills too but even with his current limited acting skills he is far better than the Khans. He does several films in a year thereby providing employment to many. His films are normally low budgets hence profit margin is higher. A film made at a budget of 20 crores and earning 100 crores is far better than films made at 100 crores and 300 crores.
