There is no major competition for best actresses. It is only between Alia, Tabu and Rasika. And out of the 3, Alia should get the best actress award as it was such a good film and sensitive portrayal that the glamour of Alia had to be on the backdrop and the character had to be potrayed so real equally showing the strength of women. And Alia truly scored in that. Mainly, considering the fact that she is hardly few films and years old, delivering such a good performance need to be appreciated and applauded so that writers write good characters for women and not the unworthy type glamour doll which the heroines are shown generally in Bollywood. Kudos to Meghana for making such a beautiful film and giving the heroine a landmark role. Hope Alia does more of such strong roles in between dancing for hero in commercial entertainers.
