Irrespective of the box office collections, if you see Tumbaad was way above than many of the films made in Bollywood even those of the Khans even if there were flaws as highlighted by Sreehari Nair. It is because Bollywood audience do not encourage such films that we get 90% hopeless and senseless movie in Bollywood.
I have not watched Dhadak and Raazi, Do agree with Mr.Nairr on Padmaavat. But all other films are very much enjoyable in their own space and entertaining to the core. Iam not claiming they are the best after all cinemas should be entertainment...entertainment & entertainment right
very well written. i appreciate the bluntness. hindi films, while claiming to become more experimental, still treat their subjects superficially. we still don't know how to tackle grey...having said that, do a list of 10 INDIAN films you liked. not bollywood, that would be a tough ask
