Trust the movie throws light on the early years of Bal Thakaray, like how he was propped up by Indira Gandhi to break the unions of Bombay and shut the mills in Parel; and how he grew wings and with two others started the Shiv Sena, sidelining the other two when his popularity rose.. how he started off with trying to chase away south indians, and when that didnt work, took up an anti muslim stand to keep his popularity going. Or maybe it will be a propoganda for SS since elections are looming and as usual they have nothing to show or do anymore for Maharashtra... just like what Sanju was to change the perception for Sanjay dutt. Will we also see how he bailed out Sanjay Dutt during the days when arms were found at his residence. Will wait for the movie to come out on TV soon. Hopefully it wont be too much of a fiction.

Nawaz is one of the biggest and best actor because of whom Bollywood becomes interesting, else its the bore heroic antics all over. So, any role will fit him and he gets into the role so easily showing this talent powerhouse and audiences are useless not to make his movies 100 crore ones. Here too he has been able to resemble Bal Thackeraey, but truly the depth of the voice of Thackeraey is missing. As for the movie, not sure if its not for the curiosity to see how the director and writer has presented Thackeraey in true sense, good and bad neutrally, else I do not think Thackeraey was any such universal hero for other than Maharashtra who would want to see his story. Neither his life could create any revolution to be inspired for. In fact, Shiv Sena though survived showing that they were for the local Maharashtrians frankly could do nothing much for them. Life example is Mumbai where Gujaratis and other community people from all over India could excel and make Mumbai their own. Maharashtrians definitely had a good time and control of Mumbai showing the rich Maharashtrian middle class culture when textile mills and other manufacturing and small scale industries boomed in Mumbai due to which so many jobs were available. But Shiv Sena could do nothing while all textile mills closed and all SMEs gone away and allowed towers to come up while the real localities whom Mumbai belonged are forced to move to far away destination.
