"My father (Malayalam movie legend Mammootty) was very clear, even in school, that I should not have his last name. I should not be entitled just because I am his son." Whom is he kidding ? He is in the industry only because his dad is Mamooty.. Long live Nepotism !! The least he can do is not ridicule those real strugglers, who are more talented and who come from smaller towns and cities in the hope of making it big, by making casual statements like that !! He is just the south indian version of the karan johar hritik camp who have promoted nepotism to suit their needs.
One can't say its badluck of Dulquer because Bollywood do not deserve good actors and so Dulquer is lucky that the entire South respects him as an actor and for his very good movies and is crazy for him as compared to any actor in Bollywood. Bollywood audience is unintelligent to enjoy and want to see only masala and trash movies rather than anything exciting. Hence sure that Karwaan would be a flop and even if it runs a little, it would only be for Irfan. South audience, especially Kerala are so sensible and intelligent about the quality of films and as such they are able to see so many beautiful films worth their money than compared to Bollywood which only likes superstars, masala and senseless entertainers.

You shouldn't be so quick to judge. Admitted that Dulquer isn't the typical Bollywood star, but he has the chance to make a mark like Madhavan, Sudeep and Rana have achieved. Hopefully this will get him suitable roles in the future as well.
