This stage drama was pre planned. His father Salim Khan have been boot licking right wing government since long time and making right moves. Salman himself is influential and connected to top people in India. Today he will spent in jail. Even doubt he will be spent jail. In couple of days they will get bail from high court due to lack of evidence and he will be set free. This punishment from lower court was pre planned to show the world that Indian judiciary serves justice. With Salman khan influence and stardom he would have even got bail in countries like dubai for petty crimes like this. Sanjay dutt crime was big and of serious nature related to 1993 blast hence it was not possible to interfere.
The only country which would not have pardoned salman khan for cases like this also could have been Singapore where laws are such rigorously enforced. He is safe in banana republic of India where all top politicians are seasoned criminals.
