You are right. She must have hurt the sentiment of Modi followers. She should have told sorry immediately. First of all she should know as a mature actress. What type of dress she needs to wear while meeting PM. This is general knowledge. If she is not having any knowledge about sikkim should not tell anything about it. By the way i also dont know anything about sikkim, Nagaland, Manipur, Assam etc. And immediately after comming to know her statement is wrong she should appologise to people. She did appologise. That is very good on her part. Her mother also appologised. But she should note down that from now onwards she should be behave maturely.
i have been there twice and ready to visit any time and my kids like the place so much ..such a wonderful place !!. PC is ignorant(but iam not surprised really ! )
Sikkim is one of the most peaceful, beautiful and clean states in the country. Insurgency is seen in J and K, Nagaland, etc. but certainly not in Sikkim.
