Don't show this film
by Sanjay Kulkarni on Nov 28, 2017 09:52 AM

Unless the title is changed to a sensible on, do not show this film anywhere. Freedom of expression does not mean denigrating Hindu deity.

Always fight for creative people
by Jayaprakash Balan on Nov 27, 2017 11:46 AM

Its always been a fight for creative people and its a shame that the I&B Ministry or the CBFC who certifies any film doesn't have any clear direction either for the filmmakers/artistes or for the law department and people that once its certified by them, there is nothing that should stop it from being screened. Clear directions to the film people and artistes should also be made known that they cannot make this and they cannot make anything in fact which even 1 Indian could be hurt. And then let them declare that there is no democracy or freedom for expression in arts or films. Its no use just shouting against those who then say there is intolerance in India.

What sort of movie title is this Mr. Director?
Clearly you want attention by having this title and absolutely aware it will hurt feelings.
IS THIS CREATIVITY. IS THIS FREEDOM??
Wondering how sensor board allowed this title!!

I think there is a ooncerted effort by the relgions not native to this country to belittle the culture and G@dheads and derive mileage from it. These people want impose their d(rty minds on others in the name of freedom of speech and expression. It is told that a picture is more powerful than the words, and if one realizes or not, one is more concentrated on actions in a movie than the words good or bad and ultimately it is emulated in the society (good or bad). I think people with these such minds should be taught a lesson and their films shuld never be allowed in theaters so taht they suffer financial losses and learn a leasson that it is for the benefit of the society that one should work.

There was a film long ago called Julie. There was no objection to such a title, so why for this movie ?

Julie is not the name of a Goddess you see and there is no adjective in front either! We also had movies with feminine names in the past but not with any adjective.

Respect the public sentiments!!
by Rajas g on Nov 27, 2017 09:59 AM  | Hide replies

Majority of the public is opposing the film. Even then if the director wants he may screen it at his home for himself and the actors therein. Anyone is not above the public sentiments in democracy.
