The film maker needs to be sensitive to the culture and sentiments of the land and cannot take liberties for making money.Remember after 26/11 another filmmaker went with the then CM of Maharashtra on a site seeing tour to find a script for film and was heavily criticized. As a young boy have read in history the valour of Rajputana kings and how they fought the muslim invaders. As an indian it is our pride and legacy.A film maker cannot take liberties with that.I am with the people. It is a fashion for some people particularly from bollywood to do anything in the name of liberty.
The director makes some statements while the shooting of the movie was on....making people take offence to the script. But that now seems to be a ploy to generate a controversy...ensuring publicity and commercial success. People who play with public sentiments for commercial gains are actually breaking the hearts of others for their own gain.
