Is creativity bigger than history?
by Parag Patil on Nov 17, 2017 12:44 PM

I am an average Indian man, who enjoys good movies every now and then with family and friends. I also appreciate path breaking trends and movies exploring sensitive subjects. In fact I strongly support such movies.
I am not against creativity nor against glamour. I think films and serials are very strong medium to communicate with masses effectively. I am also against serious bodily threats to individuals.
That being said I have few questions to those who support twisting of history in the name of creativity.
I will appriciate Mr. Bhansali or Ms. Padukone answering following questions. ( As Mr. Bhansali has already twisted history in the name of creativity.)

1. How would you feel if some one was to write a book or make a movie using names of your family members and your ancestors or for that matter you and showed them in worst way possible (e.g. as prostitute, pedophile, thief, decoite, murderer to name a few.). Please note your family or your ancestors have done nothing wrong still their images get spoilt in front of public in general.

2. I strongly believe historical serials should not be allowed to dilute / or deviate from the historical facts.

It is humble request to those brilliant creative minds to present those facts to younger generation as it is. It does not require false incidents to be added to increase ratings or profitability of the movie.
You are given gift and talent, use it responsibly when dealing with history.

You need to add your kerala people in this. Remember highest population of kerala is living in every cities of gujarat and they are also working like slaves. Now don't tell gujarati people also working in your kerala. The proportion of kerala people is 100times more when compared to gujarati people staying in kerala. Now the question is if the kerala is heaven, then why you people are disbursed in entire india for bread and butter?
one more correction in your statement. People who work like slaves and defexcate open are from Rajasthan, UP & Bihar. Not Gujarat speaking people.
talking about development. North kerala district like Palakkad, Mamalapuram, Kasargod if facing severe shortage of drinking water in small town and villages. Just compare the annual rainfall, natural resources these districts have with Kutch region of gujarat which is white desert. How drinking water is provided there. Plus, 24hrs power supply in this region. Highly industrialized zone where lakhs of people are getting job. See the condition of North kerala and comment. This is contribution of your successive govt. in kerala

freedom of expression doesn't mean you can hurt the feeling and sentiments of people. You have no right. If you cannot convince your thought and idea of film, then better don't make such movies until everyone agrees. Now, the question is which terrorists outfits funds these bollywood people for making such movies. It need to be investigated.

Question is whether louts with the excuse of sentiments can be allowed to break the laws of the land (such as violently demonstrating against a census board certified movie and destroying public or private property) !

There is no other question !

You As---le, from when Bhansali has become the symbol of freedom of speech?
But yes - he has done a great job in bringing out the Hindu anger in the open.
