though these days there is comparison of content film doing well with examples of Newton, Shubh Mangal, Lipstick etc. which is a very refreshing and nice and true thing to be, Bollywood audience or mass are still not grown up or educated enough to accept wholeheartedly or lap it straightaway like those masala movies. They would not question anything about masala movies like Judwa2 and Golmaal again, but when good movies are made, even a beggar would start scrutinising it, rating it, finding faults in it. Thats the reason when on one hand masala movies make 100 crores, good content movies doesn't make even half of that. So, its not that audiences have improved and matured, just that some more percentage is added to the good audience who also equally patronise good quality and content movies. Well, can't hardly complain because even giving a profit of Rs 1 for good quality movies is always better than it being a loser or flop. So, mass audience will probably need another 50 years to get some sense and like good quality movies wholeheartedly. The day maximum percentage of the of autorickshaw drivers and the level of these spend time and money eagerly to see good content films, thats the day cinema will win. All said, hope Tumhari Sulu is well made and liked by audiences and not be a flop for Vidya like her other movies.
Hello Vidya Baghchi. I truly salute your acting prowess as am still not out of the hangover of Vidya Baghchi from Kahani (Part 1). You lived the character and watching every frame of Kahani-1 is always a treat... Next you showed the guts to portray Silk in The Dirty Picture. Your acting was mesmerizing. And we (fans of your acting) always craved for the same magic of Kahani1 and TDP...though practically it won't be possible. Kahani2 debacle wouldn't be blamed on you...the story was not well woven like K1...Sujoy Ghosh is a promising director. Hope he makes one more movie with you and it has a tight script. Anyways, you would be glad to know that I have decided to watch Tumhari Sullu just by seeing the trailer at a multiplex while being to watch Golmaal...You have acted mostalgic...Fantastic...I always feel you really know what acting means...Good luck.
