Ever since Kings XI Punjab started playing some of their IPL matches in Dharamsala, it seems to have become a favourite tourist destination. Also a popular venue for hosting non-IPL sports events as well.
The place is very scenic and some of the pictures are really beautiful. It is pleasurable just looking at some of the pics, can only imagine the joy one must feel actually being there.
It is May and while most of the people in the country are reeling under scorching temperatures, people there have to wear heavy jackets even at the height of summer. Lucky them.
As of now it seems sparsely populated with hardly any traffic or pollution, hope it will be maintained this way and not allowed to become crowded owing to its rising popularity as a tourist destination.
I also think Kunal Kapoor is right on, when he says while most people tend to head for foreign locales for holidays there is much to be explored within India.
Looks like Kunal Kapoor had a blast on his Dharamshala-Kaza roap trip and thank him for posting the pics.
