This is a mythic fantasy. And you are looking at it like an ordinary run of the mill bollywood movie. If you think this is boring, then you must be either too old to comprehend this type of movie which is ok since i wouldn't expect my grandfather to be so excited about it; or you must be too short sighted to understand anything about the movie. Though the movie looses its steam in the last 30 minutes, the remaining is simply spectacular w.r.t the camera, effects, editing, sound, direction.... Simply magnetic. Please look at it like a movie that has been 'really made' and not shot like other flaccid bollywood movies. This is a visual treat and an imaginative mind's produce. Respect that fact.

ENVY FOR THE SUCCESS

This guy who has written the article seems to be the ghost writer of all those writings praising the khans even though their films are such a bore and bore . Khans may have good connection with the media via their public relations department and PR managers and so even though their films are a bore and waste of money , people like this guy are ready to give the write ups praising the film and the bore actors as if they are the only gifted ones in the bollywood scenario. It is a shame that this type of journalism still exists

you are right absolutely. This guy who swoons at hollywood junk ( magic realism stuff full of sci-fi and hi tech special effects) is critical of a gigantic movie shot so splendidly and its grandeur so captivating and special effects as crisp, colossal and magnificent as any hollywood block buster, simply because its a movie made by an Indian.Shame on him for being so shallow and pretentious.
