He can make some fictitious movie not in anyway referring to history. Why take Padmavati's name? Suppose I make movie on Prophet showing all nonsense, will mzlms keep quite? There will be fatwa next day. Even for a cartoon in Denmark there was uproar. One can never play with sentiments. There is so much anger about mzlm rulers of the past. Don't glorify them . India has suffered enough. Enough conversions have been made, and the converted are more fanatic than the original marauders.
Sanjay is a great showman and should not resort to subjects that creates discontent due to misrepresentation of characters that have emotional feelings.Glorigying Invaders and putting Indian Kings in poor light has become fashion with Movie Makers.I dont see anything wrong with what Karni Sena has done.

While it is certainly wrong for people to beat up Sanjay Leela Bhansali and his team repeatedly ,why can not Sanjay not analyse why some are expressing their anger with millions unhappy with the boorish tendency to glorify rogue Arab rulers.Leaving lefts and Muslims nobody in India has any respect for the Arab rulers who were nothing more than rogues and hooligans which at best be left not talked about,leave alone glorifying like this in a movie.Added to this now not knowing rogue Arab rule is termed as ignorence which is adding fuel to the fire.Also why should these actors in the lead role take up such topics which glorifies rogue Arabs.Why all these are so ignorent

You are wrong. Every invader or ruler has good and bad characters. Look at the current PM. He has such a bad image all over the world that despite him going to foreign countries, there is hardly any foreign investment coming. But people of this country still try to glorify him only for his good deeds. In same way, britishers and arabs and ashoka, all had their own good and bad in them, and movies are only for entertainment.

No Arabs were uneducated,uncultured,valueless thugs.On the contrary even though Britishers were also looters,they built postal system,railways,tea gardens,English education etc.Also now they are our friends and treat us humanly unlike Arabs even now are behaving like thugs ,a 70 year old guy marrying a 26 year 16 year old girl only ynecploitband leave,scores of such instances reported with unreported could be very high.
