Bollywood audience taste is confusing. Else there should only be 4 movies that should have made money and upto the mark, i.e. Bahubali-2, Hindi Medium, Naam Shabana and Jolly LLB-2. None of the other films mentioned deserve to earn profit or be declared average. Much of their success is due to high marketing and big names involved. But by making unworthy movies a success and money spinner, it is only assuring the correct perception that in Bollywood, movies do not run on quality, story, and content by on their star image and value as well marketing.

by the time people know about the content of movies it is booked heavily depending on star cast and they collect almost 80 - 100 crores in first 3 days of booking. the collection in second week only should be crieteria for hit and flop

I have not watched Hindi Medium but since Irfan is present in the movie, it has to be excellent. Of all the Khans, he is the best actor in the league of Om Puri, Nasaruddin Shah and the ilk. There are many landmark films in India like Mughale Azam, Sholey, Chota Chetan, Shiva and so on. Bahubali is one such landmark film. The story migh be routine one but the scale, the grandeur, the vfx such awe inspiring that a dubbed movie made so much business that it has broken many of big Bollywood records.
