Sadly Salman did not achieve stardom due to hard work. It came easily due to his looks and few good scripts and directors.But this is the first time he worked hard and people rejected the movie. Now he will do only movies without sweating.
The facts about Tubelight is totally wrong and its already become a hit and might be a blockbuster. How can a movie which makes 100 - 150 crores with 3 - 7 days be a damp squib or a flop. Its all one section of media who is declaring it a flop else the exhibitors and distributors are happy and could well be earning profits in coming days. Ofcourse thought the first day was not up to expectations, the first day cannot be the final word of the film.

Did you read the article? It says that the opening was below expectations. And irrespective of 100-150 crores, it still has not broken the profit margin.

A Khan (any of the three Khans) movie is bound to rake in atleast 200 crores anyways. Nowadays "HIT" means any movie which collects 100 crores in maximum 3 days, not more than that. Otherwise its a "FLOP". It is in this context & compared to other recent Salman movies that this film is deemed a "Damp Squib".
