I agree with S V Muralidhar Raju..When the public loves we must acknowledge it
So, what was your point again? Ok, I get it. You hate anything which even seemingly is authentic Indian and have staked whatever little pea sized brain matter you may supposedly have to a colonial slave like obsequity.

He has praised Swati Mutyam, and the director. I wonder what is colonial in that? And do you think Bahubali is more Indian, or authentic than Swati Mutyam?
Authors comment stating Mayabazaar film - is the greatest film in Indian film history as voted by CNN poll etc. and Bahubali cannot be compared at all in any form. Mayabazar (original 1957) was made in digitalised colour and releasedi in 2010 which again ran for 100 days at box office. There is no such record for any other film. This was due to stalwarts featuring in that film such as NTR, ANR. SVR, Savitri etc. and music and songs composed and sung by the Distinguished and Legendary Ghantasala Venkateswara Rao. Hence with Mayabazar, in any form no other film has got comparison. But given the current generation technical brilliance, baahubali can be watched once for entertainment. While Mayabazaar can be watched infinite number of times, even today, especially the black and white version.
Suppose the film was christened - Strong-armed ; the name of the kingdom was Sparta; the hero was Arnold Schwarzenegger; the villain was Van Diesel; the heroines were Julia Roberts and Tatum O'neal; the director was George Lucas-- [ actually these names are not required, all we need are Western names]-- then we will have this same J.Jagannath singing hoshannas about the great qualities of this movie.
Many of our Indian citizens still suffer from the hangover of the foreign rule.

Your mind can be decolonised if you have one. I have my doubts, seriously. This is from the article:
Here's a man who made the country's most progressive cinema like Shankarabharanam, Swati Mutyam, Saagara Sangamam, Saptapadi, Sirivennela to name a few of his outstanding works.
Now, these are not movies starring Julia Roberts or Arnold. I appreciate your zeal to decolonize the poor post colonial subjects of India, but I don't think this is the right target for it. And if you think Bahubali is the answer to the "West", then I have nothing more to say.
