I think it's about time that the political class accepts the truth and be honest about the wrongdoings during the emergency. I lived during that period and I can assure you, that we could not speak a word against the ruling class who were at the helm of affairs at that time. So my advice to the Congress friend/members is to shut your goddamn mouths and face reality.....
According to the Award vapsi brigade slogans like "Bharak ki barbadi Jang chalegi" is freedom but making a film on the Emergency is a sin and requires Bhandarker to be hounded and threatened. Where is the Reward Vapsi brigade now. In deep slumber I am sure or thinking of the next occasion when they can side up with the terrorists
particularly some people in politics are going mentally insolvent is perceived from the bickering topics of release of a film. The impact of negative visions has turned them into less than a lay man.
Through this medium i wish to tell the Congress that it is high time they learnt to accept that they are not in power . Their first step to correction & over all improvement ( if any ) is to accept that they are not the rulers of this country. Their supporters should also accept it , for the good of the nation. Trying to bull doze over truths is not going to help them any bit .

@ Quite logical, Santosh! With time, memory fades. And a good 40 years later after the Emergency, there is a whole new group of people who do NOT know anything about the Emergency. Indira Gandhi, Sanjay Gandhi,Bansi Lal and later Jagdish Tytler, active during the anti-Sikh riots, are trying to become lily-white. A film like this could put paid to all such dreams. That's why. Sanjay Singh of Amethi discarded his wife Garima, and married Ameeta, widow of Syed Modi. There was a case going around that Syed Modi lost his life because of some misdeeds by people he trusted. So when there are too many skeletons in the cupboard and the cupboard has been locked for nearly 40 years, opening it now will spoil the show for all who were party to various misdeeds.
Censor Board considers itself above Constitution and Law. It is ignorant about the meaning of freedom of speech. Earlier this censor Board is replaced the better for this country. Cannot blame only Pehlaj. either the board members are supporting Pehlaj or they are gutless or their views are as antiquated as that of Pehlaj

Luckily, this time, this Film is going against Congress. Now, there is Time for the "PARAM BHAKTS" (They are committed to Congres Family and Leftist Thinking) to seriously think what is really good for the nation.
There is nothing wrong if a film projects the facts of history. Congress is getting irritated if their wrong doing are projected. They were very happy for release of film Udtha Punjab before assembly elections in Punjab.
