I apologize for writing up a positive comment about this movie in the Discussion Board here recently.
I watched this movie yesterday and I was literally feeling like I am in some M-country watching a M-movie made by the hardcore M's.
A real let down for SRK to accept such a bad script. The kind of cruelty shown in this movie was to the extent of myself feeling nauseous in the theater.
I really condemn the board of certification for the wrong certification. I could see families leaving the theater with their children right after the goat fight!
This would be my last SRK movie for the rest of my life - I never knew I would end up in such a mess, sorry again
Raees brings back the era of Salim-Javed.. its a dialogue heavy action packed movie.. Its box office success is unquestionable. the point here is the lack of knowledge of the reviewer or may be case of biased reporting.. Raees is sensational to say the least... go for it..
As a movie I found it entertaining.The high points are the period of the film in last nineties and early present century; all settings/localities naturally agreed with the contemporary, hand phones, old scooters/cars, dresses,weapons and the works; me being a senior citizen it was a bit of nostalgia. Can't understand why one should object to the filmy content and demand a ban.
