Marathi industry has produced some of the best actors of the country and its a real treat to watch them act and involve in each character so wonderfully. Its sad that Bollywood doesn't come up with great scripts and characters to give these actors challenging role. Nevertheless audience who really appreciate good cinema are never deprived since Marathi industry churn out the best films in the country.

Very true. Nilu phule, Ramesh Dev Nana Patekar, Ashok shroff, Madhuri Dixit and so many others.great singers like Lata and Asha are also from Maharastra. It is boon as well as bane for Marathi cinema that Bollywood is situated in Mumbai.
