There is a saying in Odia- The village girl has a running nose - however beautiful she may be. I agree with the lamentations of Sandeep Das.

Silly !

We like Karan Johar, we appreciate other artists irrespective of whether they are Indian. We are more global and secular than the Indians and some of the Americans, of the Trump kind.

Art, not commercialized, will not get media attention. It doesn't mean that commercial art is bad, that is the route through masses understand the art which is otherwise shrouded in abstraction - most of the time.

The man is an academic and he shouldn't grudge a Karan Johar getting written about. Which is because Karan Johar bothered to tell the media what he does, this academic expects people to notice him!

Besides everything else, this guy a half or fully baked NRI, thinks we should raise him to the sky

he has not grudged any one !! Irony is that every one thinks that one is pointing the other when is question why some one get more appreciation than him .. Problem is it is all about the amount of money spent on once own PR and media attention. If media is not Biased then every thing should be project in same fashion which is not correct ..

I am happy to be global in mind, residing in India, wearing contemporary dresses, not accepting anything blind.

That way, I will treasure the most valuable and ignore the material form, of which citizenship is one.

Vasudaiva kutumbakam. It is time to remember, instead of getting nationalistic. Otherwise it produces people like Trump and his followers - trumpettes :)

The Indian media publishes, broadcats , telecasts nothing but sensationalism of the crudest form....and then there is bollywood, which is an insult to the collective intelligence the Indians with their 'nacha-gana, garish renditions of make believe world. And when somebody speaks about it,he is brandished intolerant, communal and what not......very sad state of affairs.....
