I read a different review yesterday and it's a different one today. Can't understand why this change.

The review is better than the move itself which was a bore to watch.

What’s in a name?
by Pinaki Pandit on Apr 29, 2017 11:22 AM  | Hide replies

When they changed the name of Bombay to Mumbai, I used to think why. Because we have a sheared heritage with the British people, and most of them are also against the empire just as we are. So why? But if we look at it closely, the empire kept the Mogul names and changed all the other names, to say that you never existed.

This is what is happening to Bollywood and even to the name of people in everyday life. If someone has a name Ramlal, people think in inverted commas. So I am proud of Baahubali for putting it straight.

To say that you never existed, imposed aristocracy to look down on us.

We still aspire to be aristocrats. If someone has a name Ramlal, people think in inverted commas.

;) I lov Baahubaleee

Flourish !
by Bharat Kumar on Apr 29, 2017 10:25 AM

The flourish of a pen, or the taps on keyboard, can produce a ballet with a sword or tapping with the feet !

Granted, this is not Chetan Bhagat style of naked writing which thrills the masses, but the sheer poetry of reviews on Rediff gives a cynical mind something to cheer about. The writers on rediff rock! The desi bhakts might do well to polish their angrezi a bit, reading the articles here with help from a dictionary, instead of mouthing abuses.

It would be great if Rediff can also publish in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, etc. This is the time to preserve and celebrate the diversity and liberate the minds, at a time when the sycophants of the rulers are trying to straitjacket the population
