I remember seeing a Serial on DD National when I was a Kid - In that your name was "Subbu" if I am not wrong.

Yes, the Serials of 1990's were much more Realistic and acceptable.

Television does not watching only serials and movies. Watch channels like National Geographic, Animal Planet, Discovery, BBC Earth, TLC, or any sports channel... will discover more of television then

90% TV channels broadcasting never ending serials taking more than a decade are worthless causing headache&& BP.Bestcchannels are EPIC,geography,& other English channels with educativevalue.News channels OK.Best are those broadcast comedy scenes from movies.However standard of programmes shown ought to be raised,as presently rating is average only.

Almost all the programmes shown on all the channels are worthless. There are exception like Tarak Mehta ka ulta chashma. Women with lot of makeup talk all sorts of nonsense in all the serials.Smoking Drinking and voilence are shown again and again.For TRP ratings all channels showing evil things and corropting the society. It seens Censor board is blind to all these issues.
