Review misses the point !

The film holds a mirror to the decadence and tragedy of a misogynist society. The reviewer thinks that the character Lajjo going to hermit was over the top. But that isn't entirely foreign in our society, except the initiative is from a woman! We heard of scams of swamis and actresses in Bangalore, didn't we?

Radhika Apte is bold for an Indian actress. But one wonders if she could have gone to the extent if she was married to an Indian?

Aseem Chhabra is shy or didn't see the uncensored version. The film does pose tough questions of the moralities in conservative societies. Also, a woman 'unleashed' or 'untethered' is a refreshing sight, not for the language but the slender hope that the film evokes in the viewers
