These statements from Karan Johar should have come earlier. Now since he is looking at losses he is changing his stance. The blood of our soldiers is not cheaper than the pockets of your 300 people.
.....there are some of these kind of celebrities in sports, arts, cinema , literature and journalism, etc.,who are gradually feeling the 'reality' around after having tried all the stunts to stay afloat as 'one above the rest'....and were used and re-used enough number of times as 'inadvertently trapped in as stooges of and by delhi durbar of (an almost-fatally wounded) congress-era which turned out to be the most destructive colonial legacy that thrived in breeding pseudo-culturalism and insensitivities (towards nationalism and nation's mainstream) trapping enough unsuspecting victim's like the talented karan , sachin, and many more who are all now for the first time coming out boldly in support of their govt. of the day. RSS-BJP-Led-NDA has never been partisan in its governance opf the Nation and that is all what should matter to any citizen and not what an ancient congress-regime stooges and the political henchmen of the same outgone poltical dynasty keep harping in the most crafty and pretentious ways to (I repeat) unsuspecting celebrities from non-political spheres of a nation's society.
I am not supporting the cultural exchange between India and Pakistan now. But what I feel is that movie does not only belongs to the actor and director. Many other people are involved with it. And why should they face the brunt? Many small-time producers, distributors, technicians, camera men, assistant directors, and spot boy among others are involved in making a film. Will the MNS and other political parties come and run their households. Definitely ban Pakistani actors but whatever movies are made - at least allow them to release.

I agree. also the point is the Film has been shot before the attacks & Surgical strikes. Those now making an issue should have made it at the time Fawad was signed. Also Karan Johar should have spoken out his views before the comotion. why wait for useless barb from Anurag!!

The problem is that the film industry under the influence and dictat of Daaood and other are taking pak actors and quite a few years. It is not the first they have been warned but several times earlier. Now they should pay the price. As far as 300 ppl are concerned when he has already paid pakistani fawad Khan why he is running away from paying Indian common actors. Do they have no value in comparison to fawad or these ppl just takes Indian for granted.
i think he is trying to cover up for the stand he had taken earlier. i think this was the statement which was required few days back. may be its too late. but better late than never. he would have been still the same but i think his coproducers might have forced him to do so....if he is speaking from his heart than i think we should forget and move on.....
No body is stopping you from making films but not with pakistani actors as they have no sence of love, if at all they have it stops with money they are paid. Pakistan itself has stopped TV channels, indian top personalirties why is India trying to be soooo goo0d. Be true Indian
