Usuall I do not comment on rediff reviews, but after watching I felt it necessary to clear the air. Rediff reviewer may not have liked the movie but actually it is a tremendous, hard hitting movie with all time best performances from Hooda, Aish and Richa. Omang Kumar has done a great job to bring this story on screen. A must watch...4 Stars
That tells how biased Raja Sen is, I did not watch the movie yet but, if he gives 4 1/2 stars to SRK FAN then you need to question his credibility and intelligence in reviewing a movie. I guess his world ends around SRK.
Aishwarya Rai is a flop heroine and emotionless lady. fate of her films can be predicted before its release. she cannot carry the whole films on her shoulders. producer wants to invest his block money then they can make her heroine otherwise we have to pity for him.
After a long time I get to read a critical view of a film without obssession or sympathies with bollywood or the legend the film follows. I am yet to watch the movie. Though I did expect the similar review, I would still watch it to know how the DOP, Editing (though your comments do give a good picture of this), dialogues writing and frames are. Waiting for a cinematically good watch for years now in Indian Cinema. Guess the emotions in the movie is like the autorickshaw shayari.
Really ??? Raja Sen you call yourself a film critic?? Do you even realise that the first line of your review shows that you are biased against the director ... "Aishwarya Rai ages literally with each passing scene " That is what is supposed to happen ... What do you expect ... Her to age naturally ? That would then take years just to make the movie ... Really the worst reviewer ever with no sense of movies at all ... Redid ... bring some genuine reviewer next time to write reviews ...

Neither the Doirector has very good credibilities nor do the actors in this movie (except maybe Richa Chadhha) so I frankly think that the reviewer is quite honest and unbiased. For a mushy mushy paid review, read TOI. hehe!

Mr Shekhar, there is no reason to get so hyper. Its just a film review. Some may like it, some may not. So just accept it. havnt seen Sarbjit yet, but whatever Sen wrote about Mary Kom was bang on. It indeed was a power point presentation rather than a movie

Hey bud.. i believe you are speaking of sympaties for your country's legend and bollywood. We are talking about cinematic excellenece here. A good story told in a porr manner qualifies to be a poor story-telling.
