I am a non-maharashtrian but by the fame of movie I seen that and I was awestuck. Really great work, things put in most simple way without melodrama or over hyped charaters. Carry on sir.
Kudos to the director of the film-Nagraj Manjule.He has made famous the lead couple who comes from lower middle class backgrounds and that too from rural place.Masses are bored and pained of watching the Khan's movies for so many years(in late 50's still romancing heroines of 20 year)Sairat was indeed refreshing and relates to the real life of the people.
Also please make a movie where a Bhaumat boy woos a Beautiful girl from Alp Sankhayak community of peace lovers where the boy does not face any opposition from the girl’s parents. In fact they can be shown as clapping in glee that their daughter has found love and bless the couple without asking the young man to switch his dharma.
Yes, It is a Very Good Story, I am glad that the Director openly discussed about being from the backward section of society so Now I know that he might be fulfilling some youthful fantasy of his that might have been denied in real life.
