Ms Sukanya\'s snide remark that she would care to see the original after seeing its Hindi incarnation is both cruel and callous. The Malayalam original was made with NO concessions to the glamour of the actors or considerations of commercial cinema. No doubt it embraced the cause of organ donation and highlighted the perilousness of surface transportation of the precious cargo. Sure enough, Kerala has responded to these problems with meticulous precision. There is awareness at a very large scale about what has to be called the spiritual excellence of organ donation. The Kerala Government has established an Air Ambulance Unit, which flies donated organs to patients awaiting transplants at destinations located far away from the source. Besides, the Government, people, and service organizations have learnt to work together in harmony at critical times. In the first case of organ airlift, an autorikshaw driver was the beneficiary -- not a superstar\'s daughter--, and it is the Airwing of the Indian Navy that flew the heart to the recipient. All this happened in the wake of the original Malayalam traffic. If a film could influence the society in so beneficial a manner, we could forgive its artistic lapses if any, couldn\'t we?

typical narth indean reviewer who does not want to accept the movie is good simply because it is copied from a south movie. But the same reviewer will give 5 stars to a trash movie starring salman khan

Dear Ms.Varma,
You find faults with the second remake of an acclaimed film from 7 years back ? Given the long gestating project and (relatively) low tier casting despite interest from B-town heavyweights sure should have been red herrings.
Do yourself a favor and watch the original. You would be pleasantly surprised.

Not a good remake ...dont know why Manoj Bajpai agreed to the role after his brilliant award worthy performance in Aligarh...in fact the national award jury should have given him a special jury award ...for me it was the best performance in Aligarh this year
