You are wrong Aamir Khan. I never had any bias against you. I never even though about what your religion was, ever! You were just an extra-ordinary actor for me. I was your big fan. If there was any bias, it was, that I would rather watch your movies 10 times and still be more willing to watch your movie over a new release.
But your comments hurt me. What you said was purely politically motivated. No, the media didn't report it wrongly and no I didn't misunderstand it. You just played politics and knowingly or unknowingly you put India on the mat. I am sorry Aamir, you don't care, but I just can't make myself have same admiration for you. Your politics has cost you this one fan.

Perfect. Aamir seemed to have got into a belief that everyone who is criticising him on his statement are the fanatics. He is not realizing that he hurt the feelings of a lot of moderates as well. We loved him as an Indian, but after his statement, it is difficult to continue the same feeling.

ditto! By reiterating his stand that people misunderstood/ misquoted him, he still proves the point of being a hypocrite.
