movies like Empire of the Sun, Downfall, I have seen these movies many times, but still feel watching again n again, Sairat also falls in the same cadre...
Best movie of 2016, no doubt... everything is so perfect in the movie.... Ajay Atul done wonderful job and their music to the movie is icing on the cake...
Wish this movie should go to Oscar and win the oscar!
Though I am not a Maharashtrian, but understand the language and have been a fan of Marathi cinema, their directors and their talented actors who has such variety to give to the audiences concentrating mainly only on stories and content. Sairat is one such exceptional. I have seen the director's Fandry and had been impressed. Kudos to Nagraj Manjule. He deserves all the success and I would request all the Bollywood audience to spent money and see Sairat than seeing the medicore Bollywood movies. Such directors makes us thirsty to get more beautiful movies from them.

he he exactly my thoughts. Why so much reference to western films and film makers? Have to show off.
Ajay -Atul are terrific muscians/singers and have already got a great body of work in Marathi and Hindi....seems like the writer did not do his homework well!
