By speaking against the Sensor Board, the Khan has exposed himself as to how intolerant he is. When there was orchestrated intolerance he termed it and shouted as intolerance. And now he is unable to tolerate a decision given by the Sensor Board. The decisions are given only by following laid down procedures.

There is no question of intolerance. Udta Punjab is true. We should now all try to eradicate this social evil rather than concentrate on what Aamir Khan said.
is ridiculous , how honest are Bollywood actors , can be judged by their advertisement for the product, how they befool public for the sake making money, on behalf of Company. Do they least care for the poor and innocent public who treats them Heroes. A group of people with particular leanings are coming in blind support of this name and its content. Nihlani was even earlier considered a villain by some of these commentators. Their old loyalties are preventing them to see beyond that. Laughing and cutting jokes on Indian culture was the feature of some old films.
Ridiculing a particular State by making a film is not fair. In every state there are good and bad. Films can be made on themes, but should not be insulting a state by repeatedly using its name. Will anyone dare to make films with names of West Bengal or Tamil Nadu ? If so, it is likely they will burn the film makers alive. Punjabis are very tolerant. It is AAP and Congress are fueling the fire.

You are right Amita... there are different people to decide! So people like Aamir should shut their mouth. The censor board decides, the censor board is appointed by elected Govt. so in a democratic environment, the censor board will take the call, others can criticize but maybe upto a point!

We will never improve, we are blind for some particular political party, can`t u see, it is clear cut political interference, this film is going to show drug abuse in Punjab and only 9 months are left for election so it is not in fever of ruling party, the film maker is trying to expose drug abuse in punjab, Amir being the actor and moreover being an indian has full right to express his view, no one can shut his mouth or any mouth. it is well known how govt agencies are working ....needless to say they are puppet in the hands of ministers - does not matter which party is ruling.
