To take the things forward, i even change the channel with SRK or Aamir Movie or AD..i hate to see their face. I want somebody to convey to Aamir and SRK.
The only thing the celebrities should avoid is to not make controversial statements particularly that of political or religious nature. The comments Amir Khan made has just came out of his mouth unintentionally. But it damaged the impression of him in the minds of the people.
I do not think the tourism to India has increased just because Amir Khan was the brand ambassador. On the other hand it did not make any difference. So what we are talking about. The reality is Amir Khan got more public exposure than increase of tourism. For that reasons the proposed names od Amitabh Bachan and Priyanka Chopra will make any difference in India's tourism arrivals unless the Ministry of Tourism make some efforts to steamline their own offices abroad with able persons, which are headless for almost two years.
The damage has been done. Why cant our stars keep their opinions to themselves and stick to their core competence ie acting? Aamir next release "Dangal" may face rough weather on various counts.
His wife must have adviced him not to go to Iraq or PAK as there in no safety at all and she will be asked to wear Burqua!! and she can't express her heart felt "Intolerance" in tha country like what she did in India.
